During examination periods, the library remains open until 6:00 PM on weekdays.

Library Rules

  • Students must present their ID cards to enter the library and borrow books.
  • Books are issued for 14 days and can be renewed once if not reserved by another user.
  • A fine of Tk. 5 per day is charged for overdue books.
  • Silence must be maintained in the library at all times.
  • Food and drinks are not allowed in the library.
  • Reference materials, periodicals, and newspapers are for in-library use only.

Overdue fines are calculated at Tk. 5 per day per book. Lost or damaged books must be replaced or paid for at current market value plus a processing fee.

Library Programs & Activities

Reading Clubs

Our library hosts several reading clubs catering to different age groups and interests. These clubs meet regularly to discuss books, share insights, and foster a deeper appreciation for literature.

Meeting Schedule: Every Tuesday, 3:30 PM - 4:30 PM

Information Literacy Workshops

These workshops equip students with essential skills for the digital age, including evaluating online sources, effective research strategies, citation methods, and avoiding plagiarism.

Workshop Schedule: Monthly, on the first Wednesday

Author Visits

The library regularly invites local and national authors for interactive sessions with students. These visits inspire young readers and writers by providing insights into the creative writing process.
